Conference sessions were held on:<\/p>\n -Sediment management concept and sediment policy during which 65 presentations were given, inclusive of 10 keynote presentations.<\/p>\n Poster Sessions were held on 3 and 4 April at which 54 posters were presented.<\/p>\n Further, two Special Sessions were organised about:<\/p>\n -Legal options for enforcing the requirements of the WFD Photo impressions: <\/p>\n Acknowledgements<\/strong> Special Issue of the Journal of Soils and Sediments <\/strong>
\n with the participation\u00a0of: \u00a0IAEA<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nMore than 160 sediment professionals from all over the world attended the event.<\/p>\n

\n-How can sediment management influence ecosystem services provision?
\n-Climate change and sediments: direct and indirect consequences
\n-Circular economy \u2013 sediment as a resource
\n-Impacts of disturbed sediment continua and mitigation measures?

\n-Ballast water and sediments \u2013 BWM Convention
\n-Deep sea sediments
\n-Nuclear and isotopic analytical techniques in sediment analysis<\/p>\n
